busking? powering amps

hey guys,

i'm in need of some help with the same kind of problem

i play jazz guitar wich has a really low output volume and a fairly bassy sound. i need definition and volume so i use a cube 80xl and a powercable to draw from coffee shops.

but to go ninja-busking i need portable power. how do i get it for this amp?
it has writen on the back, 230v 50~60hz, 75watts

(i've tried a micro cube and the sound was horrible in the loudest settings, and volume very low)
(not even a volume boost pedal helped) (the streets i play have some noise, etc...)

any advices?
i've seen the cube street but it's too expensive for a really low wattage amplifier and a portable power source like the duracell one would be better than buying small batteries all the time...

Yeah, get a battery and power inverter so you can use any bass amp you want - see my post earlier in this thread.

I've been wanting to type "small gas generator for ages but thought that would kill the spirit of busking (which I have no interest in).
Honda makes some really quiet units that could still be a problem in the subway or where gas fumes would matter.

So the obvious full use option are above; buy the unit from Amazon and be down with it or assemble parts like shown above.
The battery powered amps that I've seen available that last a decent amount of time sound horrible.

Yeah, that's what makes the portable power packs so attractive - no gas, zero noise and you can use any bass amp you want.

hi there,

i need to find a battery to power a 40w fender rumble v3 bass amp.

i would need enough power to be playing anywhere from 6-10hrs per busk session without re-charging and 3-5 times per week. i would of course re-charge when not in use.

i'm unemployed and receiving no government assistance as it was cut off but i know i could make some extra coin busking. i have some savings of about $500 AU i could spend on a battery, inverter and re-charger.

i was told that i need a 105AH 12V deep cycle marine AGM battery. problem is they weigh about 30kgs.

the battery calculator on that website link posted does not work for me.
