Buyers advice/squire jazz

I do not want to sound like a smart Axx. But, what exactly do you mean with "city made me sell my vehicle"?

Quite simple really. I had a vehicle that I owned. The coolant system had issues so I pulled it off the road to be repaired. I let the registration and inspection expire as I was not driving it. City inspector came by and saw that I had no registration or inspection. Gave me 7 days to get it registered and inspected OR they would come by and tow it away to be auctioned off at their convenience. Its all about taxes. It is a Class 3 misdemeanor to own a vehicle and not have it registered or inspected. (in my city) In this country we do not own property, we rent it from the government because if we don't pay taxes on it, it becomes their property.

Too bad you let it go for electronics as it's fairly easy to fix a passive jazz bass. Offer $50 discount and get 3x250k CTS pots for $15 (that will also end up being better than original).
I have a set of geezers (p/j) that I'm going to slap into a bass, just haven't found the one that speaks to me yet. Looking for one that I can hone my setup skills and such.
