Buying a Bass Stack?

Hey I'm going to be purchasing two Acoustic B410's.
Would it be better to run them with a B200H or a B600h?
(I'm a n00b when it comes to gear)

Less volume yes, a lot quieter no. A lot less dynamic range feel is more like it.

Not all that much however if you can get the 600H it's the way to go.

I use the B-600H and a single B-410 all the time. It works - but listen for unnatural sounds.

Just for fun, get a third B-410 and run them all on the B-600H. That'll be a 12-10.
The B-600H is good down to 2Ω - BTW.

Prolly the nicest difference between the B-200H and the B-600H is that the Notch Filter can be disabled on the B-600H.

If it goes down to 2 ohms, why not just get FOUR 4x10s? 4x8 ohm cabs will work out to 2 ohms in a typical setup. 3 would give you 2.667 ohms (I think).

1 cab would be fine. Any 4x10 that can't handle 400+ watts is a waste of time. Your power output will be lower running at 8 ohms (don't know what that head is rated for, usually works out to about 60% of full).

The B-115s are nice - but they will lose ability to comply a lot faster than the B-410s. I have both and although I like the 115s, they start bilabial fricatives at much lower volume.

I tend to keep my B-115s for smaller venues - because they seem really good at moving air at less than high volume.

As far as having four B-410s - that's all nice - but stacking them would require an OSHA inspection and permits. At 24" high each +casters or wheels, that stack'd be over 8 feet tall.

One second thought though -------------

One Barnyard BBQ I ran my B-410s in a stack behind my B-810. Sonically it was nuclear and filled the whole valley with good clean bass.

I dig stacked 15's as they have better dispersion and dont have the comb filtering of a 410 or 810. I have a similar head to the b-600h a Peavey Mark VIII XP. 600 watts at 2 Ohms. I am really GASing for a 2/8 Ohm switchable 215 built like JohnK's starliner or a greenboy Dually loaded with Faital's.
