Double Bass Buying a Double Bass

Hello everyone!
My name is Tair, and I’ve been looking to buy a double bass for a while now. I’m currently living in Basel, Switzerland, and I’m looking for recommendations on where to buy one. Does anyone have suggestions for good double bass stores in Germany or France? Or maybe even somewhere farther away that's worth the trip?

I recently rented a bass from Pedrazzini Lardon Gmbh in Basel. In the process, I had a chance to try one of the basses that Paul Pedrazzin had made and thought it was great. It was nicely set up and easy to play. Most impressive was the volume of sound it generated. Additionally, they are very nice to work with. I highly recommend them as a resource.
