I've seen a similar scam with a lower-priced item (50 bucks?). Here's how it worked in my situation....
*Commit to the BIN option and make payment via Paypal.
*Within a matter of hours, you'll receive a fictitious tracking #. Actually, it's a real # but untraceable to your purchase, address, etc.
*Within 24 hours, you'll receive a delivery confirmation. Huh?...what?
*You file a dispute but receive an auto-response that the buyer / recipient must wait X number of days before filing.
In my case, E-bay caught on to the scam without any addt'l prompting and refunded my $$ within a day.
