Buzz in my signal

I wasn't sure where to post this question so I thought I would start here. I have a Fender Jazz and I have installed a Sadowsky Preamp in it. Some places I play at I get a ground buzz from the bass. I generally run the bass through my pedal board and I use a Eden World Tour Preamp/DI to send my signal to the console. I have also had the same buzz running the bass direct into various DIs (Countryman, Radial, Whirlwind and even a Presonus tube pre). The only thing I can try to do is always keep my hands on a string or two at all times. It doesn't do this in every venue, but I want to know if there is a solution for the ones the bass generate the buzz.
