> Hi dear friends, my post #1, sorry my dumb english in advanced.
Im researching to buy the Fender P bass RI model or another one...im trying make comparisons in the neck shape of the basses, because i feel better with thicker necks, " C " shape form, you know?
Maybe my hands big, i don´t know exactly , but, the playability of my fingers run more easy in the C shape necks.
I had the Stingray bass many years ago, and it had the C shape, but the 70´s Fender P in my opinion have more "heavy C" shape. I had one P bass 70's too. But much expensive nowdays!
My actual P Bass standard have very thin neck...
Well, im researching in Tech Specs from manufacturers and see the Stingray have 11 radius, the J bass 9,5 and the P Basses RI 7.25...
Seems more radius, more thin neck?
And the damn expression "Modern C Shape" of manufacturers??
What mean that? Its C or Modern C...or is the same thing?
Thanks for some opinion and im very happy to join the forum
Peace
