Cab Buzz Help Plz!

I just bought a new Epifani UL210 and it had a bad buzzing noise, but only when I play the G note (especially on the E string).

It only starts at moderate volumes and doesn't really get proportionally loud with the volume so I guess it is a rattling of something. The buzz is definitely comming from the cab.

Anyone have suggestions to try or things to avoid?

You said you just bought it new.

I'd bring it back for another one ASAP.

If it were used I'd say pull the speakers and find out what ain't right and/or add internal bracing to the cab(like ACME does) AND possibly a coat of epoxy resin(stiffens the entire cab). But you're also then adding weight to the "UL".

It works now..

Turns out one of the drivers was a bit loose...and after I tightened them they had to settle in overnight, cause in the morning the noise was gone

one of my ul112's was making a racket when i got it. after pulling the speaker out i found a staple had come loose from the insulation and attached itself to the back of the cone... hard to believe one little staple could have made all that noise...
