Cab Crisis.

Hi there, hoping somebody can help.

Have recently just bought a Warwick Profet 5.2 Head and this being my first venture out of the world of a combo, have no clue what cab I should hook it up with?

I'm hoping somebody can suggest/recommend a suitable cab?

The main thing I'm worried about is this ohms malarky, wouldn't want to blow it up now would I..

Any takers?!?!? lol

What kind of music are you playing, what are your volume needs, what is your budget, are you set on new or will you buy used?

You can use any cab. As Bill said, go try some.

I only got the head yesterday so haven't had a chance to get to a shop yet. Was just seeing if there was any recommendations. Will mostly be used to play Funk.

Not a crisis. This is a whole new adventure! Try a bunch of cabs. Buy what gets it done for you. Don't be afraid to try a PA cab either. You may love it, or hate it, but it will be an eye opener for how much a bass cab can be "colored", and how much a part of your sound the cab can become.
