Cab for highs

My Combo 300 doesn't seem to have a horn or tweeter, so it can't get very crisp for slapping. Could I get an extension cab for the sole purpose of a tweeter, or have a tweeter somehow installed inside the combo? What's the best method to get highs?

You could consider a separate midrange, and perhaps a tweeter too, although it's usually the midrange where cabs need additional help. It would be a DIY proposition in any case. I'm not aware of any well engineered add-on mid or mid/high boxes.

First, get some new strings. Preferably steel.
