Cab Fried...HELP!

So at my last show i let one of the other bass players use my cab. Which resulted in him frying both his head and my cab. I don't think he blew all eight of my speakers, and my cab smells like burnt plastic inside.

My cab is an Ampeg 806-HE it has 8x6.5" speakers and a tweeter. Personally i believe the problem is the circuit board where the input jacks are in the back, I feel like that may be my issue.

My question, is there anyway i can bypass the circuit board and just go from my input to the speaker wire???

It may be the crossover, best choice would be to get an authorized Ampeg repair place to get it fixed right.

Do you use the "with tweeter" jack or the "without tweeter" jack? I think the tweeter is a piezo so it's not supposed to burn out (and there might not even be a crossover)!

I always use the without tweeter input, but i'm not sure what the guy that borrowed it used. I would even opt for removing the tweeter all together if that would help.

No it just makes a very high squeak noise, and i even removed the tweeter and this still continues

That's weird...are you sure that your amp is OK as it sounds more like an electronics issue than a loudspeaker issue? Have you tried it through another cabient?
