So I have a dark glass micro tubes 500 and am looking for a 1x15 (or 1x12) cab as I can’t be moving a 4x12 around anymore , I’m looking under £300

any ideas ? As it’s 500w (750w peak) and 4 ohm , 1 output

been looking at 8ohm / 400w ones but not too sure , any help would be appreciated

Although your amp has one speaker output, most cabinets can be chained together. This allows you to use one 8 ohms speaker now and add a second 8 ohms cabinet in the future. This is preferable over having a single 4 ohms speaker.

That price point doesn't leave a lot of options if you're shopping new. The best value is Warwick from Thomann.

Your money goes farther if you shop used.

Are you looking for similar volume to the 412 you had? Have your volume requirements gone down recently? I don't want you to downsize and then say "I need more firepower!"
Two 115s are easier to move around than one 412. The quality of the 115s will determine whether there's enough "firepower", but I can't imagine them not being sufficient.

Anderton's has the following for under £300:
Ashdown Rootmaster RM-115T-EVO II
Ashdown Rootmaster RM-210T-EVO II
Fender Rumble 115 V3
Fender Rumble 210 V3

Although they are highly regarded and affordable, Peavey Headliner cabs are made of MDF, which is a dealbreaker for me.
