I have a 2x12 open back guitar combo I can't sell so is there any way to convert it into a bass cab?

What about downsizing the speakers to give them more breathing space or sealing the cab?

You could transform a bus into an airplane too with enough effort, but in the end it's not worth it. Just get the real deal, used if you can't afford new.

Succinct, to the point and with a little humor.

Well at least now I can just cut the amp and reverb unit out and seal the top nicely and give to the guitarist.
