Cabinet help

I have a 4-10 cabinet that I built. It is loaded with Mesa drivers and horn. I have recently acquired a Eden WT550b and was hoping I was going to finally get a good sound out of my setup. I had been powering the cab with the amp out of a Peavey Databass combo. Sounded better than the combo, but was thinking the new head would give me more of what I was looking for. It sounds ok, but would like to get a better tone.

My question. Is there anyway I can build something out of what I have to get a better sound? Different configuration of speakers? Different cabinet? Crossover in cab is homemade from the guy I got the speakers from.

Just looking for some answers/suggestions. Would love to go to a 12" cabinet, but would like to use what I have.

Cabs are so different, materials, porting, etc. You probably need to give more info about your cab to get some expert opinions.

Just find another pair or four of similar 10 inch drivers if they are all 8 ohms you will end up with an equal load, if you wire them in series parallel they will (either 2 more or 4 more) work well with your Eden amp.
and then design a cab based on the designs those speakers worked well in for Mesa Boogie, they might know a thing or two.
What are the speakers exactly and what size is your current 4 X 10 cab
and is there any porting?.

What cab size and tuning?

A lot of 410's are around 1cu.ft. per driver and tuned between 40 and 50hz. How far away from that is it?

And what are you missing in the sound? Define "better sound".
