Calibrating feedback for a lackluster seller

3 is accurate, in my view. All told (with misrepresentation in the minus column and discount/refund in the plus column) the seller wasn't great, and wasn't worst case scenario. I think 1 and 2 are reserved for very bad cases when something was destroyed and/or non functional.

He deserves a ding, but nothing too dramatic.

Errrr so he shipped an instrument in a bicycle box he pulled from the dumpster at Walmart? The best part?….. You accepted it. Rating 0, the guy sold you trash and used trash to ship it. View attachment 4377114
I use bicycle boxes, etc when I ship. I'm a private seller and not a corporation and what matters is that the package is shipped safely -- I want the package to look reasonably nice, but function is more important than form.

Hopefully I would not get a low rating for a picture of a bicycle being on my box :)
