Hey everyone! Admins please delete if not allowed.

Last year I bought a CP-81 10 band EQ (MXR M108S Clone) that had a noise problem. As a customer i was not happy. I am familiar with electronics and was able to pinpoint the problem for them, and they came out with a new circuit board to correct the issue. Since then I have been working with the Product Development Specialist and Engineering Team to essentially beta test their PSUs and other pedals. In return they have sent me a few bass pedals as a thank you. Many of the pedals @Jo Bass regularly feature on his youtube channel and posts on this forum for interest. :)

I've made some technical reviews of the various pedal PSUs Caline makes. I am able to tell if they are truly isolated, as in from the wall power to the pedal output, and also isolated from each pedal output so the various pedals don't cause perturbations with each other.

These are some of the videos I've done so far, I have a bunch more I will be reviewing. Hope the videos help the community when choosing a budget power supply.

FYI, Caline is not sponsoring me/endorsing me monetarily. I am now directly plugged into their teams to address potential flaws in their pedals to correct. Hey everyone!

Keeping this thread going. Spoke to my contact at Caline in Shenzhen, the engineering team has made the corrections to the CP-201, just waiting on final testing on their side before they send it over to me and then getting it out to production.

If anyone has any questions or issues with power supply feel free to shoot me a message or respond to this thread!

Hey all. One of my viewers asked if the CP-206 would power an HX Stomp with the use of a current doubler adapter. Unfortunately due to the technology (linear voltage regulator) high current applications are not advisable. You can double the current, but due to the series resistor in line with the output the voltage drop will be too severe as you approach full load of the 500mA lines. THIS IS NOT A FLAW. It is simply not the best part for the application. The PSU is still a great budget option if you dont need high current beyond 500mA.

The OEM PSU is 9V and 3A, or 3000mA rated, and is a SMPS with a 16AWG output wire. The pedal has been recorded to take about 850-1000mA at idle depending on the effects/settings used.
