Calling Hohner owners?

I need to replace pots in my BBass IV. I'm not exactly sure how to tell but I'm pretty sure the V V pots are 500K audio taper mini pots (marked B500K). My current pots are noisy even after cleaning. . . . replacing seems like an easy fix.

I also want to replace the stacked tone pot - mainly because I want a center detente to indicate 'flat'. It is marked 100K x2 which I assume means that both sections are 100K. I don't know how to tell if it is linear or audio taper. Does anyone know? Also, does anyone know if this Fender part will work:

it is described as: "Genuine Fender 100K linear taper dual concentric stacked pot. Center detente. Top shaft is 3/16" (4.7mm) and bottom shaft is 1/4" (6.3mm) diameter. Includes mounting hardware. Stock part on Fender FMT Jazz basses."

Also (sorry for all the dumb questions), does anyone know if putting a replacement with a center detente will be located pretty much at 'flat'. This bass is a neglected CL find that's ended up being the one I play mostly (after a little TLC). I never understood, however, why they wouldn't have had center detentes on those tone pots since they go from cut to boost (or so I understand).

Thanks.

Looks like I posted to a sleeping thread. In any case, I bought this part and it may work but the knobs don't fit. Mainly I was looking for a point of reference other than all the way on and all the way off. After spending the money on the new pot I got the bright idea of simply adding a a visual mark on the knobs to get a visual reference. While I was in there, I did replace the noisy VV pots and clean up some older repairs that didn't look so go. I think I will leave well enough alone for now.

I had a Hohner B2ADB, purchased in 2004, a 2003 model. Last year, bought another one that, while not new, was in better shape than mine. This was built in 1990, and it actually plays and sounds better than the 2003. I know there are critics, but I play thru an old Trace Elliot, and together my sound is very aggressive. Love it!

Really like my Hohner BBassVI- was a pawn shop special:
replaced lifting bridge (same as early Ibanez SR506) with individual bridges and replaced mis-matched tuners and pup screws. Also replaced non-working EQ with EMG BQS, keeping active/passive switch.
Sounds and plays great, now- EQ brings out the best of the 'P' style split pickups: lots of versatility.
Also, have a Hohner HRB 5 DLX, mahogany and maple, in great shape- really growly and plenty of versatility from original EQ.
Will try to get some pics of this up next.
Necks are slim, but stable- similar to early Ibanez SR6 and SR5 necks.

Time to revive a sleeping thread... :-)
1979 Japanese made Hohner Pbass that my wife and daughter gave me for Christmas. . This thing is a tank.
And I'm waiting for a Jack Bass that I should have sometime next week. I'll post pics of that too when I get it.

I bought "The Jack" bass over 20 years ago, not sure of the exact date, second hand from a local guitar shop. It is still working perfectly, it has the original EMG select soap bar pickup which sounds a bit dull but good enough for a practice and Rocksmith gaming piece. The build is very solid, hold its tune for a very long time and the Steinberg hardware is faultless. A few years back, for giggles I played a few pub gigs with it and had punters coming up afterward asking about the bass and how distinct it looked. I have been thinking of upgrading the pickup but don't know what will fit the spot and the string spacing. Guess that is part of the fun of maybe some future research project.
