Camping Anyone??

I've camped and ROUGHED it all my life. Backpacked with a sleeping bag and tarp, etc., etc.,.............

These days I just want to get away with as many comforts of home as I can bring along. Besides, camping in FL with no AC SUCKS most of the year. We would use it for going to paintball tournaments, the beach and Jeep events. Gotta have the shower and AC!! :) So, I shouldn't have called it "camping" :ninja:

LOL! True. I think "camping" requires leaving some of the comforts of home behind. ;)

Looks like fun, though. It would be ideal for a ham radio field day.

We will probably end up with motorcycle trailer/camper but I like the idea of the tent trailer. They have lots of space, and add on space protected from the weather for 4 wheelers, gear, people, etc.

Is a toy hauler out of the question? It is sort of "one step further" but it provides extra space, comfort, protection for the vehicles, and gear.

That's what I'm talking about. A toy hauler with a big tent will probably be the way we go. We need a place to store the bikes, 4 wheelers and gear or a place for a paintball team to gather in the shade or rain.

The thing is, if I get a descent size toy hauler, I'm going to need somthing besides my Jeep to tow it...............one thing leads to another :rollno:

Really cool! I tent camped for twelve years and they were the best times of my life, but I moved to a travel trailer (26' with a bathroom and queen sized bed, small kitchen/dining with A/C, heat, freezer/fridge and a large awning to roll out) and I have to say, I prefer what I have now but I still own a tent just for old times sake. My wife of 2 years would NEVER camp in a tent....go figure!
