Can’t resist posting my new Sadowsky!

Killer!

You'll love the VTC. I can't imagine mine w/o it.
One thing I love about these basses (aside from the fact they record like a dream) is if I'm ever in any doubt as to what bass to take to a gig, due to unknown variables, I always feel totally confident when I grab the Sadowsky. That tight low end in a live setting is a thing of beauty. You come out in the house sounding "produced". You gotta be a pretty horrible soundman to screw that up!

Yeah I can't wait to try out the VTC and play her on a gig. Unfortunately, there is some drama going on with the band right now and I'm not sure when that's gonna be. Looks like one of guitarists is going to be kicked out of the band. But that is a story for another day, a long time from now!

Wow. That's all I can really say! Do you have a full picture of the bass?

Enjoy!

Ask and you shall receive!

Funkasaurus, that is beautiful. I just got it's cousin two days ago (also from Bass Central). Mine is also the gorgeous Transparent White; but mine has the rosewood fingerboard with the white blocks/binding. Mine also has the VTC already installed.

I've been playing (and loving) Fenders for a long time. But I've gotta' tell you, when I opened that case, I was just stunned by the finish & appearance. Then when I plugged 'er up - wow!

I'm not sure how to post pictures yet. (My son is going to teach me the next time he visits. Yeah, I know. I'm a technological idiot.) But in the interim, if anybody wants to see it, they can check out the Bass Central section of T.B. Unless something changed today, mine is the first Sadowsky listed. It shows as having been received (used) on 12/19/07. I spotted it, then called them the next day. Fortunately, it was still there, so I pulled the trigger. As nice as the pictures look, it looks even better in person. I, too, am looking forward to getting together with my band. We normally take an informal hiatus after the holidays. But I'm sure it will cut through the mix like nothing I've ever had before.

You mean this one? It's a beauty!

THANKS to everyone for your kind words!

Forgot to mention that I'm really digging the neck profile and finish. It's very comfortable and fast.

The only downside is now I want a Sadowsky P/J!!!

:smug: Those comments strike a chord :D !

I'm sure you'll find that the matt neck finish goes "gloss", quicker than any other bass you've ever picked up (mine certainly did :hmm:), but it still feels good :smug:.

As for the P/J thang, I know that feeling too :crying:. Sadly, threy're in very short supply in Europe at the moment, so I may have to wait for mine :(.

Anyway, congrats on your purchase - she's a beaut ;)!
