Can anybody Identify this?

Hi all,

I picked up this old melodeon at a car boot sale for £20, but for the love of god I can't find out anything about it. It came with a book on how to play melodeon, that was published in 1928. It seems to be in good working order, and sounds nice, but I would love what it is, where it's from, how much it's worth etc....

(Bonus tidbit for a giggle: The seller thought it was a biscuit tin!)

I know nothing about melodeons or accordions, but I have a friend who plays. He suggested that you post this to the forums at Melodeon.net to see if anyone can help you out. Apparently, it's like TB for accordion players.
