Can I buff a Matt black Rick?

I have had a Matt black Rickenbacker 4003 for a little while. I have noticed that the areas I touch often are very quickly becoming shiny (areas on back of neck, where right forearm rests..) I am OK with gloss, but I don't like the mixed look. If I have someone buff the entire thing will it give me a uniform gloss look? Sorry If this is a stupid question but this is not my area of expertise, and no, I won't try to do it myself.

Generally, yes. But it also depends on how thick the finish is - if the person cuts through the finish while buffing it may need a respray. It's unlikely, but it's possible.
