Can I run Mesa boogie m6 di without running cab?

I don't think you want to do that.It's not a DI.All that power has to go somewhere.From what I gather its like having 0 impadance,your head will burn up.
At least on a tube amp thats how it works.Maybe with a SS amp its different.Still its not made to be used as a DI.
Don't risk it go get a DI box, there's lots of good ones.

Having no cabinet attached creates an infinite impedance. Zero is a full short. Simplistically the power is created by voltage from the output stage interacting with the load. With no load there is no power. Any SS amp without an output transformer can safely be operated without a load. A tube amp on the other hand always requires a load.
