we played a gig last weekend and my amp died halfway through so i just went through the board rest of the night, i am wondering if anyone knows if i picked up a inuke1000 and ran it with my zoom b3 effects processer into my peavey cabinet how well it might work for live shows? The price seems very reasonable on them.
any input would be greatly appreciated

thx mick i thought it might but was unsure if i might be better off just investing in another bass head even though the price is so low on the inuke's, which is a p.a. amp and i have my effects seperatly so don't need alot of bells and whistles on a head

If you liked going through the board, why not stick with it?
You can still get the inuke and put it in as a spare for the FOH
inuke 1000 is like $150, where the inuke 3000 is $230,
with 3 year warranties, this is not bad.
Myself, I'd opt to pay more for a amp with a longer 5 or 6 year warranty.
Amps are always useful, for years and years, might as well get good support and warranty.

If you get the DSP models, then you'll have all the EQ controls you'll ever need.

I use a p.a amp (crown xls1500) fed from a multi-effects unit (Boss GT10B) but run a valve pre-amp (dave hall vt3) as a parallel send effect to 'warm up' the tone.
Love the sound, but feeding a class d power amp straight from the digital effects sounded (to my ears) 'sterile' and thin.
You might find the same problem feeding an inuke from the zoom, or depending on tonal goals it may be fine, I agree that having a thunderous rig behind you is hard to beat !
