Just checking so for sure you can’t kill a musicman style preamp from wiring it wrong or anything right? Bass was making sound before operation, now it’s not, somethings probably wired wrong, hoping it xan be killed that way etc

The power pickups output isn't enough to fry a preamp, but the battery power can, especially if it's wired/connected backwards.
More specifically can working in a phase switch do this? Or trying to wire a bass back into series mode?
Applying reverse polarity voltage ("+" and "-" leads swapped) to the preamp's power inputs could damage it. Most pedal circuits are protected from reverse polarity, but not on board preamps.
