Can you have TOO much string tree??

On my two 'cheaper' basses..an SX and a G&L Tribute L2500..they both have those little round string trees on just two of the strings.

I'm thinking of replacing them with the long rectangular type, mainly for cosmetics, and partly because it looks like the non-treed strings don't have much break angle. I'm not having any problems, they sound fine, and treeing all of the strings may not help a single thing other than my happiness because I like the looks of the other type. However, will it HURT anything?

On the L2500 I would get two of them...one for the B and E, and one for the remaining 3 strings. The SX would just get one of the 3 string trees. The E is on it's own

I like the little bar string trees.

I like the bar trees as well. I think the rectangular type would be more solid though, plus it will cover up the original string tree hole. Here's what I'm talking about:

Where is the best place to find such things.They're exactly what I'm looking for.Thanx.(Hipshot,yeah?)
