I just heard, my little sister's condition has worsened, palliative care only, we're saying our goodbyes. It's tough, it sucks, it's not fair, but there it is.

Who'd'a thought my shy awkward lil sis would turn into such a strong, successful, and all-around wonderful woman. She fought the good fight until it was time to rest. Bye sis.

Damn. A rare form of ovarian cancer took my sis in 2009 at the age of 56. She fought it hard for 12 years.

In the time I've known her my wife has lost her father, mother, and older sister to cancer of various types and it's brutal. My wife is concerned the cards are stacked against her but so far all is well for her and her two brothers. All the best to you and yours.
