Just got back from GC. Decided not to buy either.
The Jazz sounded like a Jazz. Nice and smooth, but nothing the J I already own won't do.
The Sub sounded like it had a preamp that was way too hot. If I hit the strings too hard, it would cause some sort of noise. Like the pickup or preamp couldn't handle it.
Tried a nice Ibanez SR500. That had me interested. I haven't owned an Ibanez in years. The one I had was ok, but I never gave them a second thought. Now I don't know. Didn't really want spend that much, but I might have to. I have another week or so to think about it.
