Can't do nothin'

Thanks blastoff...
Ugh! Well I guess that's one way to go? :D

The good (?) news is that they didn't give me a choice of what kind of sedation I wanted for the lower end. It was all the way out for the whole works. Thanks for not making me say 'No good grief I do not want to watch!' or whatever.

The bad news is that when the doc was talking about doing an upper she looked at me and said 'How old are you...' and of course I tried to plead the 5th but no luck with that. She cheerily said 'We'll clean the machine and spin the table,' and that's a mental image I can't shake.

Seriously though, all the best to you. If they did a buncha biopsies, you're gonna be sore for a few days. Although the first time I had that done I apparently requested Taco Time in the aftermath, ate about a pint of salsa, then fell asleep for hours. I remember none of that.

I just got an ad for Cashew Yogurt.

You can search for the teats on the cashew with me.
I have been looking but can not find them, they got milk in the store though. They got to be somewhere.

Got a big ol' Costco bucket of Cashews hoping to start a farm, but need to know where to hook up the milker.
I tried that healthy stuff once. Switched to almond milk. After the kidney stones, had to knock that off.
What a mess I turned out to be. And I have occasional medical issues too.

When I was in the clinical trial battling multiple myeloma, the sharp sticks comin' at me was relentless. Someone wanted to tap into me every 2-4hrs the first couple of weeks. Every damn doc from my oncologist to the podiatrist was stopping by to tap my insurer's credit card.

I feelz fer ya!
Thanks. Sounds like you been through a lot more.
Hope things are turning around for you.

Fun fact: they use the same instrument!
Just kidding. The clean it between procedures. Or so they say….
I actually had the procedure done at each end during the same operation. I clarified several times that they'd do the throat/esophagus FIRST before going up the back end. Obviously since I was under general anesthesia I had to take their word for it, but since I did NOT have any unusual tastes in my mouth when I woke up, so I'm guessing they didn't lie to me. ;)
