Talkbass isn't as fast paced as it used to be, it can be a little boring to see the same threads on the front page of any given forum for days at a time. I usually only read it on the weekend, that way everything has had a week to advance and all the stories and questions are fresh, and those that are long lasting have developed over the course of the week.
I used to have a different account, but I forgot the password and don't have access to the old email. I've been here about 10 years. You've been here less than a month and you've already figured all of that out??
Well, it's true.
I think this place is a great source of information.
Style is decontracted yet polite and respectful.
Still, I don't get addicted to it, and I quickly get bored while browsing it.
I don't understand why. This board has a lot to offer.
I'm a heavy contributor to other boards where I really feel like in my lounge.
Does it happen to other people ?
Not necessary this way, maybe a lot are addicted to TalkBass and barely browse other forums.
That and I'm bored, too.![]()
