Cant find vintage Harmony H22/1 Serial #

Recently I purchased an old Harmony H22/1 off craigslist. I cant find the serial number and Ill admit I havent taken the neck off. Most Ive seen had the serial number on the inside of one of the F holes but I dont see anything there. Any idea on how to date it? Thanks!

The number should be stamped inside but can fade over time. The last two digits of the year will appear in the serial #. They were made between 1969 and 1972 by DeArmond in the U.S. but you probably already figured that out and that's all I got.

I knew the years but yea I guess theyve just faded away. Damn would like to know actually what year it is. Im gonna have my luthier buddy look at it and see if he can find it. Thanks!

there's usually a date stamped under the pickup that can give a clue as to the age of the instrument...
