I was real curious about the Schaller pickups? Can you still get them?

I found some NOS ones through Ebay. But you can buy the bassbuckers through Schaller Germany. The original ones (used by Carl on late 70's) was the 10/104 ones , out of production. But the 232 (similar) is still one sale through Schaller Germany.

They have a cream one. Sometimes old ones turn up, or Dimarzio model G pickups turn up (the original design, licensed to Schaller).

They are guitar pickups in all but the pole-piece count though, and apparently a bit muddy.

Yes,

These one for sale is the 232, the original were the 10/104 with a black wide plastic mounting rings ! I do not know the difference between them !
