Carol Kaye

Just for clarification, the contention is that Carol Kaye played in a style pretty much indistinguishable from Jamerson? Just trying to figure out where some folks are coming from.

For me, Babbitt is still the closest I've heard. Did Carol happen to do any Jamerson-esque stuff anywhere else besides Motown? Just curious. If so I'd love to hear some examples. If not, anyone have an explanation?
 
Well I'll never know who played what. Those tracks do seem a bit Jamerson to me but I aint no expert. Both sides seem quite plausable to me.

One great thing that came out fo this thread for me is to find out the bass player for Hicky Burr/Cosby theme was a babe!
