I'm the opposite. I don't like cooked carrots except in stir fry. I love raw carrots.

The joke has to do with a whole series of polls that came out long ago in the dim ages. Before the Qintar. Before Zanderstarr, even. Back when bear and bison swarmed the forest and the prarie. It's become an in joke that has simply never gone away, even though there are maybe only 30-40 of us here to could remember it.

I think it started with Angus. Didn't he post something about carrots?

Yeah ya do. It was about 4 years ago. HUGE thread that was over 20 pages long when I was finally locked out, over which side of the roll TP should come from. It quickly degenerated (as most OT threads do), but instead of silliness it turned ugly, and a couple people ended up getting very insulted.

It was what really started the moratorium on political topics in OT. That was then MegaAngus changed his name to Angus, and Biski left us for a while.

Hmmm, haven't heard from her in a long time. Wonder where she's at?
