Lucky Strike said:From talking to the guys at Carvin Hollywood, the 410 has the same speakers that GK and Markbass uses the only difference is the cab construction. I would put Carvin's cab construction on these cabs up higher than Markbass or GK...
I've owned the GBE1200 and just unloaded the Mesa M9. I think Michael is absolutely correct...they are all in the same ball park. However if I had to choose only one of those amps just mentioned for available power and headroom at 4 ohms I think the edge may have to go to the B2000. I'm not familiar with the 2001RB.

Actually it's 2.35 and that's the 2008 specs, which I'm assuming are still accurate (may not be).
As for your "not acceptable" comment, that sounds like you've never heard the cab because it gets very loud before farting. I turned it up louder than I could bear and it didn't fart.
A/B it with the non-neo's with the 4mm xmax. It will have a much clearer low end at higher volume, absolutely no question.
2.35mm is way to small for a high-volume bass driver in a 4x10cab.

Xmax is the measurement of how much a cone can travel in one direction (short, incomplete explanation, I know.) Xmax is used to determine the maximum linear SPL capability of the speaker.
Thanks Eric. What other cab did you A/B with the BRX10.4?
That is simply untrue. Magnet material has no direct correlation with tone.Neil said:has an unpleasant upper mid which of course is inherent to neo drivers.
I've owned just about all the top brands so we'll see how it compares tonally.
What were the differences in your opinion between your 10.2 and the Berg? By the way which Berg were you comparing it to?
