Just had another thought. You might want to bring your GK head anyway, just in case. I would never bring a brand new head to a gig without having ascertained that it is reliable through a few weeks of rehearsing. That is, unless you don't mind the possibility of something going wrong during a gig! Now that I have two Carvin heads, I bring both to important gigs. I usually just run the R1000, but I have the R600 "on the bench" (it sits in the RC210 combo speaker, which I have connected to the separate R1000) just in case something bad happens.
