Just had another thought. You might want to bring your GK head anyway, just in case. I would never bring a brand new head to a gig without having ascertained that it is reliable through a few weeks of rehearsing. That is, unless you don't mind the possibility of something going wrong during a gig! Now that I have two Carvin heads, I bring both to important gigs. I usually just run the R1000, but I have the R600 "on the bench" (it sits in the RC210 combo speaker, which I have connected to the separate R1000) just in case something bad happens.Originally posted by dylangrl
Help, my new r1000 just arrived. Have gig Saturday. Anybody have any tips for me on getting the settings close in such short time. Havent even played it yet. Tommorrow nite will be 1st time. Would hate to have to play my GK 400RB while the R1000 sits at home. Thanks in advance.
