Good Lord. Everyone in musician land knows that when a person says 'passive mixer' they mean a mixer that doesn't have a power amp built in. Do we really need to argue this kind of crap????

I rarely check this section of TalkBass, so I had no idea people were misusing the terminology to fit a colloquial definition. If everyone used the terminology correctly, there would be no confusion.
