Case for my bass...problem

Hi guys I'm new here and I didn't know where to post this thread, so sorry if it's in the wrong place.
I've got an LTD Ex-104 bass guitar but I have no way of transporting it, as there is no case on the market which can hold it. It's ridiculously long in length and the only thing that I can find is about £150, which seems a bit excessive. Does anyone have an idea of what I could use to carry this pointy thing. Here's a link to the bass in question http://www.espguitars.com/esp2009/basses_ex.html

Any help is much appreciated, Thanks!

my non reverse t-bird is 52 inches long and it just fits into an epiphone t-bird case. (i had to slightly reshape the styrofoam 'form' under the brushed felt lining for the body shape, but it fits). trouble is, it's only 16 1/2" wide so it wouldn't fit your bass' width.

you may have to bite the bullet and buy the expensive one and just be thankful that a case that fits it even exists.

I'll have a look in to that t-bird case and see if there's anything that I can do about it. I would just feel really stupid if I spent half the price of the guitar on a case. To be fair, I feel like an idiot for not being able to take this guitar anywhere in the first place... To conclude, I'm an idiot:bassist::bassist:

Thanks again guys!

his dilemma is the same as my pointy,

just not "standard" enough to fit in a standard case of ANY kind. So I ended up using my tbird gigbag, which it actually does fit in because I was not about to spend more than the guitars worth just for a case....

in the OP's situation if a HSC is really needed, then prepare to fork out the big-bucks.

The BC Rich deluxe bass gig bag will fit it. My warlock bass is 52 and half inches long and fits in the gig bag ok. $55.99 at place like MF. Alternately the BC Rich med or large coffin case. Most other mfg coffin cases wont even though theyre rediculoius long. The interior area for the bass isnt big enough.
