case for short scale Jazz VM?

I recently bought a short scale Squire Jazz VM. Great bass, but I've already got a nice ding it from transporting it in a gig bag last weekend. I need a hard case for it, but can't seem to find one online that fits.

What do you all use for a hard case for your short scale basses?

You should focus on finding a hardshell case that fits the body and don't worry about the neck length. If the body doesn't move around then the neck length doesn't matter.

This one fits my Cort Action Bass Junior pretty well:

It is slightly wider (12.75" vs 12.5")than the Douglas case - maybe measure the width of your bass and see if it will fit?

I only use gig bags now, but I used to modify the insides of hard cases with foam rubber and black felt. I measure out how much foam I need and then wrap the felt around it, securing it together and then into the case with hot glue. It worked out pretty well.
