Catalinbread "SFT Deluxe" ? Rumors of its release?

I read a thread about a year ago, about Catalinbread getting ready to release a "Deluxe@ version of the SFT?
I'm getting ready to purchase a couple of effects and the SFT was one on my list,
Was this project abandoned or postponed?
It was summer of 2010 when I read it

Yeah, I remember reading about it as well. I hope for my sake it dosen't happen soon... I just picked up a used one.

which is extremely annoying

if you run it in Mono it sounds decent

that's not really that hard to correct. I wish more builders would either be open about the overall phase, or just put in a nice inverting buffer on the output.

Why not just contact Catalinbread? Those guys frequent many forums and are always ready to talk.
