Central NJ GTG... Fall 2009

it's a block off of route 70 just east of the route 37 circle (the circle is Lakehurst, the firehouse is in Mancester)...

It's a typical cinderblock building... not fancy at all. Just a big open room with round folding tables and chairs. My Mother-in-law runs the local "Meals on Wheels" kitchen out of it 8am to 1pm weekdays. I know there is a Church that holds services on Sunday mornings until noon... I think we started @ 2pm last year.

I knew I needed to get back to this thread ;)

I will sort through it and work on picking the date tomorrow... then once I reserve it I'll need to start talking to folks about chipping in some funds and/or helping with supplies. Nicky, Ed and I paid for a big chunk of the last one.

MUCH better. I was hoping to go to some of the jam sessions that are part of the Jazz Festival Sunday night the previous weekend...and I know a few other people who said they might be trying to get to the Jazz Festival, if only for one of the days. (I'm looking forward to seeing the Count Basie Orchestra on Friday night!!) I may not be able to get all of Saturday off, but can probably leave the hotel around noon or so; I figure a 2 to 3 hour drive from here up to your location. Thanks! :hyper:

where is the place? the 14th is an MMW show in NYC, but if I can get home in time to see the show, I'd love to come to the GTG.

10/18 is definately a "no" for me.
11/8 i can probably do.

so these folks who are saying this date is bad or good for me...are you guys definites? i only ask because james seems to be adjusting the date based on replies...and i'd hate for the date to get changed for someone who ends up not coming.

i'm a "maybe" until the date/place is firmed up and then i can figure out if i can make it and if i can, i'll definitely be there.

If a decision has not been made yet... I suggest a poll. You may have to start a new thread... just post the new thread link in here.

I would like to say that I appreciate what James and everyone else is doing to help put this thing together. I am looking forward to meeting everyone.
