Another source might be the Portland Bass Alliance group on Facebook, again a source for a referral. I thought my guitarist and his son might be able to come up with someone ... No luck there ...

well yeah... some nice gentleman from Portland Bass Allience (also, oddly enough, named Kirk Bryant) turned me on to a Bass Building Craftman (Lee Baxter Basses) & he was willing to spend time with me. He is SO good that I don't even know just how dumb I am... (yes, he's *that* good)

The best in Central Oregon is Warren Zaiger. He has a masters in bass from USC, is a great teacher and a great guy.
