I have one of these basses that I bought new in 1979. Mine has a black pick-up, not white, and it has the ergonomic Grover tuning pegs. I had a local guitar shop add a bridge pick-up whcih made it even sweeter. I don't play it as much as I would like. It is a little on the heavy side. Mine still looks like new.

It took me years to find my EB-18. It was my "holy grail". I owned it for quite some time, eventually selling it off to a new, happy owner:
