Changing bridges

I have a bass whose bridge has a 20mm spacing. But, i have searched high and low. I have only managed to find the bridge on the Internet that could fit on my bass. However, the string spacing is 19mm. I know it would feel a lot different but it doesn't matter. Would the 1mm make any difference to the intonation?

Intonation is the matching of the instruments physical scale length (not just the stated scale length) to the string's speaking length. A sideways variation like string spacing won't have an effect on a lengthwise adjustment.
