Hi,

Is there any way to change the default Search option to "Most Recent"?
Would love to reproduce the function of the old TB search.

Also, any way to search a specific Forum (like the one currently being displayed)
as with the old "Search this Forum" feature, without going into Advanced?

Thanks,
Martin

To sort results by date instead of relevancy, you'll have to do an advanced search.

To search the forum currently being displayed, just put your search into the search bar. You'll notice that "Search this forum only" is checked by default:

Right, but it would be nice if:
1) the default setting was "most recent".
2) a way for the user to change their default setting to "most recent", or their particular preference.
3) set up other preferences (like I've seen in other Xenforo-driven forums).

Along the same lines, can the forum login default not have the "keep me logged in" box checked?

Thanks.

For points 1, 2, and 3, go to your preferences (click your user menu in the header -> preferences) to select your preferred search result sort scheme

Regarding your last point, I'm sorry but it will remain checked by default. The vast majority of members prefer to stay logged in, and one less tap on mobile devices is preferred.
