How often should you change the battery in your bass b-4 it starts losing it's oomph? If it goes dead all the way does the bass still work or R U screwed?![]()
I think he's asking if the bass will still produce sound when the battery dies, not if the bass will be permanently damaged. The answer is: in most cases, no. Some basses are switchable between active and passive modes, so you can flip the switch to passive and keep playing, but most basses will go silent until you replace the battery/batteries.The bass specs usually say how many hours you have before the battery goes. But if it were to die than change it. It would be one terrible flaw if basses just died cause the battery dies.
