changing the EQ with EMG JV's

Hi,

I have a great Jazz Bass with a set EMG JV's (and the matching controls" VVT with battery).

I would like to know if it's possible to replace the tone pot by a concentric 2 in 1 pot and make a 2 band EQ (bass and treble) out of it.

Anyone tried that with that pickup set? Is it worth it? How should I wire it? And pot should I get for that?
