Cheap Airplane-Safe Electric Bass Case?

Not sure if this is exactly "Misc." but I couldn't find a gear section. I am supposed to travel with my Jazz class to Atlanta Georgia from Milwaukee for a Jazz convention and we may have to bring our instruments. Are there any cheap Airplane-Safe electric bass cases or is it ok to go with a hardshell?
Ok maybe not cheap just any would help :)
