CHEAP BASS CABS... ? S A SEISMIC AUDIO

I owned one of their ported 2x10s. They are cheap throughout, particle board back and sides, cheap cloth covering, cheap corner guards, etc. I used mine as an extension cabinet for a 4 watt Fender tube amp. I would be afraid to put much wattage through them, as is. Perhaps they could be braced but at that point, why not just buy a better cab? Not bad for the money, but not anything I would expect to gig with or travel much.

Notice it only advertises the "front panel" as plywood. I'd bet good money that the rest of that enclosure is MDF.

.........i'll call them right now and ask......give me a few minutes....

Well, Seismic is still in business making affordable cabs in 2018, so there is that to consider.

I've always designed and built my own cabs. However, due to time constaints, I bought a brand new empty Seismic 212 front ported cabinet, and two Dayton PA310-8 drivers, all for $250 total, delivered.
(A big shout-out to member Joe Vegas for alerting us to this build!)
Yes it was inexpensive, but it is phenomenal sounding.
