Of course, you can easily buy unlined MightyMite necks on eBay, and MusiciansFriend now, for about 100 bucks, with a unlined fretless option, so you could upgrade the enck later.

Anyway, Squier VM fretless J-bass it will be, but I'm going to wait a couple of months... I need to work on my left hand (strenght), if I buy a BG now, I think I will go for the "easier" way all too often...
I've played the Squier VM Fretless, but I own a Invalid Link Removed.Ok, here's the deal, I play the DB since two years, but from time to time a BG would be more "convenient". (plus, for some music, a bass guitar just fits better)
