Over the years, I have assembled a cheap bass arsenal for myself.

I currently own and play:
-G&L L2500 Tribute
-Ibanez Axstar
-Squier P bass modified with Fender pickups
-Cort fretless PJ bass.

All those instruments come with flaws and limitations. But all have a soul of their own. All are soulful basses, and give me the means as an artist and as a musician to create.

I presently feel an unexpected longing... I'm feeling an ancient feeling: I'm feeling g.a.s.
But cheap gas. At (CDN)479$, this feels like a really great deal.

It seems a cheap fun instrument as such. And also as an eventual platform to improve upon with better EQ and pickups.
What do you say? Should I order it?

I just picked up the 5 string version of this bass in a HH config and am absolutely amazed with everything. Sounds great, super versatile and solidly built. I may do some mods at some point (series/parallel switch) but it is plug and play as-is. Highly recommended.
